Defeating Sarcomas Together - Sarcoma Tour 2022

The annual sponsor bike ride for the sarcoma research of the West German University Hospital Essen took place again this year.

Sarcomas are among the most dangerous cancers in adolescents and young adults, but can affect people of all ages. Compared to lung or breast cancer, however, sarcomas are rare, which is why research projects are rarely funded and donations are especially important.

On the Essen Sarcoma Bike Tour, numerous Kraft und Becker employees did their part for cancer research and pedaled energetically. In addition, many employees who were unable to attend also donated an amount. The collected donation amount was subsequently increased to a total of 5,000 EUR by the management.

The medical research is of great importance and a big step for the research against this rare but very dangerous type of tumor.
